Listen to Your Mind, Follow Your Heart

When the future hinges on the next words that are said, don’t let logic interfere, believe your HEART instead. ~Philip Robison

The smartest and the wisest thing we can do in life for ourselves and for others is to be true to ourselves. True to who we are deep down inside, our inner voice, our heart and intuition. If we dare to ignore what the heart is trying to communicate to us, we will get into a lot of trouble and that’s exactly what happened to me recently.

A while back I was invited to go to this really amazing event where I would meet a lot of wonderful people, speak on stage, be a photographer and also have a lot of fun. Even though in my mind it all seemed like an amazing thing to do, my heart said no for some reason, I decided to just ignore my own heart.

The heart has reasons that reason does not understand. ~Jacques Bénigne Bossuel

The date of the event was getting closer and closer and people would ask me, hey Dana, did you book your flight, when are you leaving? and to their surprise and mine too, my answer was always: not yet, I don’t know, will do it soon.

Because I ignored my intuition from the beginning and focused on what other people assumed I should be doing based on the affirmative answer I gave to them about going to this event, I started feeling stressed, anxious and all kind of negative thoughts would run through my mind. That’s when I knew I was in big truble, my real SELF was upset with me.

Deep down inside I knew what I should be doing in order to make things better but somehow I chose not to, not yet at least. Everything I knew about the importance of being true to your own SELF and the power that comes your way from doing just that was completely ignored by me. I was acting like a totally different person…

After going back and forth for days and pretending I don’t understand what’s happening and why was I feeling the way I was feeling, I knew the time has come for me to stop with the nonsense and go back to being me. I decided to just go ahead and pay attention to my intuition, even though it didn’t make any sense to my rational mind, and refuse the offer. The moment I said: No, I don’t want to go, I have to listen to my intuition, I felt so reliefed. All of my anxiety, all of my frustration and all the negativity disappeared. I immediately went back to feeling calm and at peace with myself and with the whole situation.

Occasionally in life there are those moments of unutterable fulfillment which cannot be completely explained by those symbols called words. Their meanings can only be articulated by the inaudible language of the heart. ~Martin Luther King, Jr

You see, people who love and care about you would want to help and would always want to offer you all kind of beautiful opportunities for you to grow and evolve into the amazing being that you are meant to be but there would be times when their presents might be something the mind wants but would not what the heart needs.

It is so important to listen to your own inner voice and to constantly do whatever you feel/know deep down inside is best for you without the fear of being judged or labeled as being ungrateful. If these people really love and care about you, they will understand and they will allow you to do whatever you feel is best for you.

In Life, When you get into trouble; don’t get nervous. Just close your eyes and listen to your Heart. Because the Heart may be on the left…But It is always right.  ~Unknown

The subsequent time I learn a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I do know it was my option to read, however I really thought youd have something fascinating to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you would repair when you werent too busy searching for attention.

Thanks for expressing your ideas right here. The other element is that if a problem comes up with a computer system motherboard, people should not consider the risk of repairing this themselves for if it is not done right it can lead to permanent damage to an entire laptop. It is almost always safe just to approach the dealer of that laptop for any repair of motherboard. They have got technicians who have an experience in dealing with pc motherboard complications and can get the right diagnosis and accomplish repairs.

You really make it seem so easy with your presentation but I find this topic to be actually something which I think I would never understand. It seems too complicated and extremely broad for me. I’m looking forward for your next post, I’ll try to get the hang of it!|

Thanks for your useful article. One other problem is that mesothelioma is generally caused by the inhalation of material from mesothelioma, which is a cancer causing material. It truly is commonly witnessed among workers in the structure industry who may have long experience of asbestos. It can be caused by living in asbestos insulated buildings for some time of time, Inherited genes plays an important role, and some consumers are more vulnerable to the risk as compared to others.

I really like your bits of spiritual food! I’m very happy to say that I found out who/what I am through Yoga. I could never accept a “personal God” that looked down from “Heaven” and protected you. What others call God, I call “Universal Energy”! The whole world runs on electricity…the brain tells us what to do through it’s electrical synapses…muscles have measurable electrical impulses…We communicate with anyone around the world by using universal energy..etc
This energy is used by living entities until their physical attributes disappear and their true life goes back into the source of Universal Energy! Therefore, “all is one and one is all”
