4-Steps-for-Reigniting-Your-Passion-for-Life

“Nothing is as important as passion. No matter what you want to do with your life, be passionate.” -Jon Bon Jovi

Diamonds.

We all love them. They’re bright, they sparkle, and as they say, they’re “a girl’s best friend”.

These days if you ask anyone what the 4 C’s are they’ll likely tell you; cut, color, clarity, and carat.

Now, while that is true, after working with clients, doing my own soul searching as a healer, and personally going through a stagnant period in my life I’ve discovered there are another 4 C’s that are vital to your well-being.

Passion for Life

No matter who you are or what your story is we’ve all felt depleted and uninspired at times… you know when nothing is really wrong but at the same time, nothing is really right. When you’re just going through the motions because you’ve lost that spark – that fire in your belly that makes you feel alive.

The good news is you’re not trapped in a zombie apocalypse… you’re just stuck.

Your soul is yearning to feel that pulsing, vibrating, electric feeling in your heart again that reminds you that life is full of magic and divine synchronicity. Yes, that! I want you to get back to that place because life is meant to be full of light!

How to Reignite Your Inner Flame and Passion for Life

In my work as an Intuitive Astrologer and Coach, it’s important that I provide my clients with practical solutions in order to deal with the cycles of energy they’re under. Luckily, because of what I do, I was also able to identify what was going on in my personal birth chart that was contributing to my own stagnant energy at that specific time.

The outcome? The birth of these 4 C’s to help you reignite your inner flame and passion for life.

1. Create

“Creativity is a great motivator because it makes people interested in what they are doing. Creativity gives hope that there can be a worthwhile idea. Creativity gives the possibility of some sort of achievement to everyone. Creativity makes life more fun and more interesting.” ~ Edward de Bono

We all have a unique expression and even if you don’t think you’re creative, I’m here to tell you that you are. You’re a soul that incarnated into a unique human vessel and that in itself is creative!

Creativity is simply taking an idea and evolving it into another new form. It could be an article (ahem!) a painting, a new way to solve a problem, a new solution to get your kids ready in the morning, even Facebook started out as an idea then was put into “form”.

When you’re not creating you’re denying an entire part of your brain and your right to express yourself as an individual. Creating gives you purpose, excitement, a sense of ownership, and it ignites that inner flame!

What will you create?

2. Connect

The phrase, “No man is an island, entire of itself” by John Donne speaks volumes.

Life is about connecting. It’s about forming relationships. It’s about having human contact and giving someone a hug or having a deep conversation that captivates your soul. Connecting helps you move out of your head and into your heart where your fire is waiting to be lit.

When you get in those ruts and the cloud of depression starts to roll in, most of us withdraw from connecting which is the one thing that usually makes it worse.

Your heart chakra is yearning to engage – who will you connect with?

3. Contribute

“Don’t ask yourself what the world needs; ask yourself what makes you come alive. And then go and do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” ~ Attributed to Howard Thurman

Everything you do affects someone else because we’re all connected and we’re all here to help one another.

What can you contribute and give back to society? What can you do that will help humanity? This is not about being Mother Teresa; this is about being your wonderful, fabulous, quirky self and showing up despite all your insecurities, fears, and limited beliefs in order to contribute to something larger than yourself. Doing so will give you a sense of community and help raise your self-worth.

How will you contribute?

4. Clear

It’s important that you’re continually checking in with yourself and clearing out anything that’s no longer serving you. Yes, it’s time to cancel and delete any “static” in your life.

“Respect yourself enough to walk away from anything that no longer serves you, grows you, or makes you happy.” ~ Robert Tew

When things feel stagnant, energy gets trapped and doesn’t flow with the natural rhythm of the Universe – that’s the problem, you’re stuck! Something needs to be removed in order to make space for the new. This can be actual objects around your house, toxic people in your life, or old limited beliefs that have kept you, prisoner in your mind for too long.

What will you clear so that new energy has space to come in?

So, the next time you feel yourself falling into that zombie-like funk, break out this tool kit, address these 4 C’s, and begin to take inspired action.

When you do your world will be brilliant and dazzling just like a diamond!
