What Does Your Ideal Self Look Like?

Let me ask you something: In your mind, do you have an image of how you would love your ideal self to look like? Do you know how your ideal self would love to live like and be like?

Do you know who you want to become as a human being?

And I am not talking about who you want to be in terms of profession, career, or anything like that. But rather, who you would love to be as a human being.

Do you know what your core values are; what you stand for. And what are the things that matter to you the most in life?

Are the certain people who inspire you? People whom you look up to? And who can help you become the person you aspire to become?

What Does Your Ideal Self Look Like?

Me personally, I want to reach this point where everything I do, I do because of my love for people – no ego involved in anything I do.

I dream of the day when I will be able to offer the best of me to others. And in doing so, in sharing my knowledge and insights with the world, to inspire them to become better and better.

I want to give as much as I can to as many people as I can. For this is where my happiness comes from. This is what truly brings meaning to my life. This is what makes my heart smile.

There are times when I slip; moments when I forget about what I love, what I believe in, and what I stand for. Because I focus too much on the environment and how things are externally, I get caught up in others things that don’t mean much to me; things that us humans do because we “have to” and not because we love to. And when that happens, I fall.

But thank God, I always get back up.

Your Ideal Self Is Your True Self

It’s so easy to lose yourself; so easy to forget about your dreams; so easy to forget about what you truly love. But those rare individuals who manage to stay true to themselves – their values, beliefs, hopes and dreams – those who never give up to what they know in their hearts to be right and true, those are the people who will change the world and impact so many lives. Those are the people who will find real happiness. For I believe that there is no bigger happiness than being true to oneself and being of service to the whole world.

‘The ideal is within you, and the obstacle to reaching this ideal is also within you. You already possess all the material from which to create your ideal self.’~ Thomas Carlyle

Seek to know how you would like your ideal self and ideal life to look like. Dare to dig within yourself to discover what your unique gifts, genius, and talents are. For in finding your gifts, you find your joy. And in finding your joy, you find the way to your ideal ideal self and ideal life.

Love yourself into life… into your ideal life.

Dare to create the life of your dreams by first asking yourself how your dream life would like and feel like. How your ideals self would look like, think like, feel like, and live like. And then to step into the reality of your ideal self by working to embody all that your ideals self stands for.

‘When you love yourself and all of life, you’ll create an equal. Now you’re causing an effect. That’s the difference between living as a victim… saying: ‘I am this way because of this person or that thing or this experience’. ‘They made me think and feel this way.’ When you switch that around you become the creator of your world.’~ Dr. Joe Dispenza

Promise yourself that you will be true to yourself and your gifts. Promise yourself that you will always believe in yourself – in who you are and the many incredible things you are capable of beings and doing.

Promise yourself that no matter what happens to you and all around you, you will remain faithful and focused on the things you want to achieve. And that, no matter how many times you will fall, you will always get back to walking your path and living your ideal life.

Promise yourself that when the time will come for you to look back at your own life, you will say blissfully to yourself:

This path that I have been walking is exactly the path that I intended to be walking.

I created this life.

I designed this destiny.

It all happened because I wanted it to happen.

I am content. And I know that if I had to go back and do it all again, I will do everything exactly the same. For this is exactly how I wanted my life to look like

Your ideal self and your ideal life are waiting for you to bring them to life. May you be wise to do just that…
